Carmel Hotel Rooms

Shaded by towering Monterey pines and cooled by ocean breezes, Carmel Lodge's three two-story buildings offer forty-two cozy guest rooms in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea. Some rooms have private balconies and a few have fireplaces to take the chill off Carmel's delightfully crisp evening air.

All guest rooms feature:

This bedside alarm clock features single-day dual alarms; an AM/FM digital tuner; a universal ZipConnect™ cable for playing any iPod® or MP3 device; stereo speakers; a Sound Soother® with relaxing environments; four music chips for uninterrupted listening; a large-digit LCD with dimmer; and an easy-to-find instruction panel.

Ironing boards and irons are available upon request.

Choose from the following four types of accommodations:

Standard Classic
With the minimum of creature comforts and a Queen bed, these accommodations provide an affordable means to experience Carmel-by-the-Sea.

Standard Deluxe
Most of these spacious Carmel accommodations also feature a private balcony. Standard Deluxe guest rooms are available on the first and second floors near the lobby and pool with either a King or Queen-size bed.

Deluxe
Larger bedrooms and baths make these the most popular accommodations. Amenities include a separate vanity, refrigerator, coffee maker, and hair dryer. Several feature a wet bar and microwave oven. A few have a fireplace. King and Queen-size beds are available. Deluxe guest rooms are located on the first and second floors and provide preferred off-street parking.

Family
These accommodations allow a bit more space to unwind. Family guest rooms have two beds, either a King and Double bed or a Queen and Single bed.

Or, for the most distinctive, one-of-a-kind residential suite experience in all of Carmel-by-the-Sea or the Monterey Peninsula, consider:

Carmel Cottage Suite
This spacious two-bedroom suite features separate living room and King-bedded master bedroom; the second bedroom offers two Twin beds. Perfect for a family of four.

Check-in: 3:00 p.m.
Check-out: 12:00 noon

All guest rooms are non-smoking. Handicap-accessible guest rooms are available.

Pooches are welcome at Carmel Lodge, of course! But only when accompanied by a human companion. A limited number of canine-friendly rooms are available (Standard Deluxe Rooms only) and subject to first come, first served. For an additional charge of $30 per night plus tax, one dog, up to thirty (30) pounds, may share a guest room with his/her two-legged traveling friend(s). Under no circumstances may pets be left unattended.
